One of Tom’s best friends, John Stanton, pictured towards the back in a rather fetching green outfit, was among apprentices at Ealing Council who took on a “wear a onesie to work” challenge to raise money for CRY.
The event, part of the 2013 National Apprenticeship Week in March, saw a 12-strong team raise more than £1,300.

Ealing Choral Society dedicated their annual charity concert to Tom’s Fund in December 2011.
We were thrilled to find that St Barnabas church in Pitshanger Lane was packed for the event, which raised more than £4,000.

In the run-up to Christmas 2010, Tom’s friend Luca Fruzza, along with Rory Lehane, played a 48-hour gaming marathon against the clock to raise money for Tom’s Fund.
Such was the success of the event that they held a follow-up a year later.
People have taken part in all sorts of events to raise money for Tom’s fund. In 2010, family friends the Panzers walked the Alps. They raised more than £1,100.
Claire held her first fund-raising book sale for CRY at our home in Ealing in May, 2009.
Supported by friends and family, she raised around £1,300.
