Great turnout for the Robert Rowan invitational match @CRY_UK

The third Robert Rowan Invitational proved to be a wonderful evening at Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium on Monday, May 19.
A large crowd watched the game, played in memory of Robert Rowan, Brentford football club’s Technical Director. He died aged 28 in 2018 from an undiagnosed cardiac condition.
Robert’s widow, Suzanne, is a Cardiac Risk in the Young representative and a driving force behind the Heart of West London partnership, which brings together the football club and charities, including CRY, who share a mission to improve cardiac health and save lives.

The football might have been secondary to raising cardiac awareness among the young but the majority of the crowd were delighted to see Brentford B hammer Tottenham’s U21s 6-1 in the evening sunshine.

All of the proceeds raised by the event will go towards the Heart of West London.
